What is QiGong?

Qi Gong is a holistic practice of self-healing exercises, rooted in Chinese medicine. The word “qi” means “life force”. The word “gong” means skill or work. Put together, Qi Gong is a skillful practice to open the body’s energy system.

 

Qi Gong’s gentle, rhythmic exercises mirror the movements of nature, especially the fluidity of water. The Qi Gong practice includes: simple breathing techniques, warm up exercises, gentle stretches, strengthening postures, flowing movements and meditation.

 

Qi Gong is uniquely suited to relieve stress, boost your immune, respiratory and cardiovascular systems, and increase your body’s innate healing abilities. Qi Gong empowers you to enhance your wellness and find more energy and joy in your life.

 

 

Modifications are offered for all ages and abilities.

KRISTEN POLZIEN is the founder of S.E.E. Your Wellbeing. Her programs inspire people to prioritize their self-care so they are free to enjoy Vibrant Wellbeing. She guides her students to cultivate self-care habits rooted in Ayurveda and Chinese Medicine. Kristen has a Ph.D. in Exercise Physiology and has devoted 20+ years to health and weight management research. A certified Health Coach, Qi Gong and Yoga Instructor, she illuminates a path for people to live a more Sensational, Engaged, Expressive life.
